Today in the 31-Day Challenge we read…

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

One of the ways intentionality manifests itself is through the conversations we have. Becoming a disciple who makes disciples means we always have our spiritual antennae up and activated. We never go “off-duty.” And in some way, by hook or by crook, we seek to lead conversations from casual to meaningful, meaningful to spiritual, and spiritual to an invitation. Even when it takes you way out of your comfort zone, do you seek to naturally engage others in spiritual conversations?

The challenge today is for you to identify at least one person you can have an intentional spiritual conversation with, to move from one of those points (on the conversation spectrum) to the NEXT point. If you’ve only been casual with someone, ask something meaningful. If you’ve already been meaningful, ask something spiritual. If you’ve already been spiritual, share your story with them, pray for them, or invite them to discover God’s Word with you.

Optional Homework: Today’s challenge is all about becoming a more active witness for Christ. For optional homework today, check out this story by Curtis Sergeant about how prayer can connect with God’s mighty witnessing power in you.
