Today in the 31-Day Challenge we read…

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. –  Romans 12:2

Conformation is a kind of change that causes us to behave according to socially acceptable conventions or standards.  It comes when external pressures are applied.  On the other hand, transformation is a change from the inside out.  It’s what God does in us to make us more like Christ. Most of us go through life being conformed to the world around us in ways both big and small. As His ambassadors, God’s call to us is to be transformed, and in turn to help transform everything around us for God’s glory. This is especially true for the marketplace. So the real question is, are you being conformed or transformed?

Your Day 14 Challenge is to make a list of changes that you are aware of in your life.  They can be things happening inside of you, or situations that God has placed you in.  For each change, determine if it is an example of you conforming to the pattern of this world, or one of God’s transforming power at work.
