Today in the 31-Day Challenge we read…

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” – Hebrews 4:12

For some reason, we mistakenly think our job is to invite people to church instead of getting more directly involved. Perhaps this happens because we don’t feel like we have enough answers. Thankfully, God has the ability to overcome our weakness through the power of His Word and His Spirit. Once you have engaged someone in a spiritual conversation, one practical tool that you can use to go deeper is to invite them to discover God’s word with you. Then, just start them in the simple, reproducible process of a Discovery Bible Study (DBS or 3/3rds group). Never done one before, check out the link below then get some people together over lunch or an evening coffee. Have a better tool?  Go for it!

The Day 25 challenge is to read the Three Thirds Guidesheet (see link).  Begin praying and thinking about who could join you in starting your own group.
